The London Borough of Sutton is embarking on an exciting project, to establish an accommodation pathway for children and young adults with complex autism and learning disabilities as they transition to adulthood. This project will utilise two single-storey properties in the borough and seeks to address some of the challenges experienced in securing specialist, local accommodation for this cohort, which can include but is not limited to; safe management of high risk behaviours, solo provision, children requiring an Ofsted registered placement at 16-17, DoLS and intensive support to step down…
