Preliminary Market Engagement (PME): The University of York is seeking to develop a deep geothermal doublet system to supply heat to the campus district heat network with funding from the government’s Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme. To do this the University needs to appoint a drilling contractor capable of drilling the 5km shafts within the University's timeframe.
