As the owners of this housing portfolio, Wiltshire Council have a number of responsibilities, for example *Regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006, for the maintenance and/or repair of domestic premises through a tenancy agreement or contract. *Regulation 4 "Duty to Manage" requires the duty holder to find out whether your property contains asbestos, assess the risk, and develop a plan to manage that risk and act on it.
