The Council's Library service is currently exploring the market to identify potential solutions for the supply, maintenance, and possible phased replacement of self-service machines across our public library network. The current estate which is a total of 54 machines, includes a number of ageing self-service units, 32 of which are now nearing end-of-life. These units are increasingly expensive to maintain, and crucially, they are not capable of upgrading to Windows 11.
