Description
The Contracting Authority (LPFT) has experienced an increasing number of out of area acute inpatient placements for a sustained period, with significant pressure on the urgent care pathway, increasing length of stay on wards and challenging flow. One of the schemes in development is to utilise an empty LPFT unit for step-down accommodation, namely Ashley House in Grantham that was previously an open rehabilitation inpatient unit.
