Description
The Environmental Protection Act 1990 allows Chichester District Council (CDC), Adur District Council and Worthing Borough Council (A&W) to collect commercial waste from businesses and a charge be levied for this service. The Council’s Business Waste and Recycling Service is well established, has a good local reputation and has successfully expanded in recent years. The Councils have a duty of care to ensure all waste collected is properly disposed of and must therefore have a contract in place with a supplier to provide processing and disposal services.
