Description

Dunfermline Community Energy Scheme (DCES) was constructed between 2006 and 2008.and is located in north Dunfermline. The scheme comprises a primary heat generation station at Lochhead landfill site comprising landfill gas engine CHP, anaerobic gas engine CHP and wood chip biomass boilers. This supplies via Broomhead Energy Centre via a 2.5km DN150 connection. Broomhead energy centre is located west of the A823 Pilmuir Street off Broomhead Drive.
