UKAEA wishes to engage with potential suppliers, for the provision of real-time software and FPGA engineers in order to develop new capabilities to enable fusion power plant control systems. Plasma control systems need advanced real-time control and instrumentation systems. There is a gap in the supply chain in this area. Our vision is to stimulate the creation of an ecosystem of interoperable comments with standard interfaces, protocols and engineering methods.
