Description
As the Passenger Transport Executive for Tyne and Wear, Nexus is responsible for the maintenance of public transport networks across the region, including the Tyne and Wear Metro. Nexus is undertaking a project, known as MetroGo, to upgrade the Metro's signalling system. This new system will improve journey times, reliability and safety, and pave the way for the future expansion of the Metro network.
