The Mining Remediation Authority (MRA) has identified the need to construct a mine water monitoring borehole at Brodsworth, Yorkshire. Brodsworth Main Colliery lies within the Barnlsey-Manvers-Grimethorpe sub-block of the South Yorkshire Coalfield, the borehole is to intersect mine workings understood to be flooded with the intention of monitoring mine water levels and chemistry.
