Funding was obtained at Autumn Budget 2024 to modernise the way in which Income Tax Self Assessment (ITSA) taxpayers can make voluntary advance tax payments in instalments. His Majesty's Revenue and Customs ("HMRC") are considering obtaining the capability for this (the "new digital service") from a third-party software supplier.
