Description
The Radioactive Substances Regulation (RSR) Nuclear Workforce Strategy has highlighted the need for RSR to diversify its approach to the recruitment of the nuclear specialists it needs in the future. This is a result of a skills shortage in the nuclear industry due to a mix of increased work on major nuclear projects and demographics of the established workforce. This has tightened the labour market and made it difficult for the Agency to recruit experienced nuclear specialists.
