Description
The Trust is working towards the NHS net zero carbon target and its own green plan to achieve a service that has a reduced environmental impact. Solar PV will support the reduction in emissions linked to energy use from our estate as well as reducing overall electricity spend and providing the security of generating our own electricity. SWASFT has been awarded funding from the Great British Energy Solar Partnerships Programme (NHS) (previously NEEF) to deliver solar PV systems at five sites during 2025/2026.
