As an Accredited museums service, Leicester Museums and Galleries uses a specialised Collections Management System (CMS) to manage the information it holds about the objects in its permanent collection and any items that it has on loan, both past and present. We currently hold a wide range of objects in our collection ranging from natural history items, fine art, archaeology, geology, technology, decorative arts, social history, amongst other things.
