Staffordshire County Council (SCC) is undertaking Pre‑Market Engagement (PME) to inform the procurement strategy for an Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (EVI) scheme forming part of the Council's wider EVI programme of works. The scheme proposes the delivery, operation and maintenance of EV charging infrastructure within public car parks across Staffordshire (approximately 70 sites, 600 fast charging sockets, 7-22kW and 40 sockets with a 50kW minimum output), supported by £2.58m of LEVI capital grant funding alongside private sector investment.
