Westminster City Council (the “Council”) has a statutory obligation under the Housing Act 1996 (as amended) to provide temporary accommodation to homeless individuals and families within its borough. The Council has committed to securing temporary accommodation properties with an ambitious goal of acquiring approximately 1000 new properties in the next 1 – 3 years to fulfil this statutory requirement.
