Description
The council intends to tender contracts for the disposal of all residual waste, which may include haulage. This covers approximately 78,000 tonnes of black bag waste and 12,100 tonnes of bulky waste, with the contracts scheduled to begin in September 2027. In addition, the council plans to tender the processing of its comingled recycling, which may also include haulage. This involves around 35,000 tonnes of fully comingled material and is expected to start at the same time.
